The Greensboro Science Center recently visited CEC.  Theresa, with their Animal Outreach program, brought a ferret, an armadillo, a hog-nose snake, a blue-tongued lizard, and "Midnight" the Bantam chicken!

Fire Fighters from Station #49 visited CEC this Fall.  The children got to see the equipment and a firefighter dressed in full gear.  They also got to go inside the firetruck!    Thank you to Captain Kyle, Fire Fighter Shannon and Driver Match.   Thank you also to Captain Dan Bain who visited from Fire Station #11 too!  Click on the title to see a slideshow of  photos.

Ms. Laurie and Ms. Gina's 3's class delivered "friendship cookies" to the Monday through Thursday 4's class down the hall.  What a nice surprise!

The 4's/5's/6's made Quesadillas during Fiesta Week.  All of the children had a special Spanish class every day with Mrs. Alicia Shade, a CEC parent and Spanish professor from UNC Chapel Hill.
